I filled out the form for Jason Tamez but apparently it hasn't reached the echo yet. :-p The website is at: http://fade.to/shazrad Everything you need to know for applications is on the website. (We're working on getting some artwork up for people who like visuals, and Beth Burdick kindly provided our splash graphic. I've been working on sigils and so on, but the nearest computer lab's scanner was offline when I checked, and I haven't had time to go past the draft stage anyway.) Shazrad is a port city on the desert's edge, with a sophisticated political system, magical/mechanical guard dragons, and layers of reality (Veils). Details? See the website. I'm just giving a brief rundown for those who want to know if they should read further. :-) (Do, however, read the copyright notices.) The game will be run via website and email. Moves will be weekly, and decent internet access is a must. Posting moves to the echo will also be acceptable (since Yune and I get it via email), and all email-list moves will be "echoed" to this conference. No system is used; we're doing this by freeform, and consistent high-quality writing is a must. Characters should be reasonably balanced (no munchkins, please); must start in Shazrad, wherever they come from; and cannot be mages, period. We are, however, ready to look at character applications--and the sooner, the better. Applications do not guarantee being accepted, even to the waiting list; people will be pulled in from the waiting list in the order that makes sense, though we'll also take into consideration how long you've been waiting. Do be aware that the wait may be indefinite. If anyone needs details, feel free to ask me or Yune.
