This is due to a series of hard-won upgrades that have consumed much time and effort. The hardware is now running the current rev of OS/2, but only after losing a five-day contest of wills with me. :/ A professional-grade web server has been installed, although its final configuration awaits completion of broadband cable access. Time-Warner's local chief engineer is scheduled to be here in the morning to personally chase down persistent connectivity problems that have slowed the project. (We sometimes benefit from my employer's prestige. :)) All this effort is to reposition Conch to accomplish much more than it currently does. By week's end, I want to be able to host RPG-oriented web pages and discussion forums in some sort of cogent manner. I'm also seriously considering providing audio services which will enable GMs and players to meet, and conduct live game sessions in a variety of systems regardless of physical location. I see that as a way to greatly improve the learning process. This echo will probably fit in as one of the forums.
