Well...  average is 44, he is 10 over on 8 dice.  Instead of averaging 5.5 
he averaged 6.75.  Not outrageous, but still =very= good. To get over the 70 
mentioned above pretty much requires either a CON of 17+ or a CON of 16 and 
the above =very= good rolls. 
 
My general rule of thumb is this:  Every 17 stat raises your effective 
playing strength 1 level.  Every 18 stat raises your effective playing 
strength 2 levels.  This applies to stats appropriate to your class, so for 
fighters I'm referring to STR, DEX and CON.
