Anyone can join just by subscribing, correct? With something like an Egroups or Onelist setup (I think I'm miscapitalizing these things) I can decide who joins, so it'd be just players and people who applied to lurk. Also, with an Egroups or whatever mailing list, there wouldn't be all this *other* campaign and discussion stuff floating around to be deleted by busy players...and *my* campaign wouldn't be flooding everyone else's mailboxes, since there are people who don't care about the Black Wall and probably wish they weren't subjected to all the emails generated by it (like this one :-p). I sent a private message with a more detailed rationale, so I think I'll leave it at this. If you want me to make the extended discussion public I'm willing to oblige; I thought I'd avoid spamming the echo (again).
