I must ask if there is a reasonable expectation that you can sustain this effort at least 90 days. -----Original Message----- From: scott@conchbbs.com [mailto:scott@conchbbs.com] On Behalf Of Andrew S. Alright, I've decided that I miss that element of DMing in my life...about a week ago, I decided against ever DMing tabletop again; it was just too boring for me. Over the echo, however, holds much more appeal. This is perhaps because of the comparatively vast pool of experience/intelligence/creativty I have to draw on, as opposed to all the people I know here in Toronto (lemme tell ya, it really sucks when you're surrounded by stupid people, and all the smart people don't play AD&D...). Anyhoo, point being I think I'd like to fire up another campaign. Less open-ended, the basic outline that I've developed will be the characters have all been imprisoned for grossly stupid reasons, but none of them can understand why. Only a sense of foreboding exists... As things stand now, the game will last at least six months. By that time, the characters should've have succeeded in breaking out of the prison (oh ya, this'll be a doozie) and discovered the reason for their being imprisoned on such idiocies. At that point, we can decide whether we should end the game there (i.e.- the characters go on their way; they're out of prison, who cares why they were in it?) or we can continue on to getting revenge, for lack of a better way to put it. That would be a good opportunity to switch up players for those who want out, or have to drop out for other reasons, or maybe even bring in additional players. Anyways, Jason, to make this work...you might recall that when I was setting up SIGILS, you e-mailed me a copy of the application form. Could you send me another one please? Thinking I'd not need it again, I scrapped it sometime last month...silly me. Always come crawling back to AD&D... Anyways, thanks in advance. Hope this caught the interest of some people.
