Yes I still have two down links that use modems. With my system, Portal 
dose not have anything to do with the internet. Other than my two 
downlinks All Portal does is run my scheduled events and my nightly 
maintance. Gecho packs and unpacks the mail and TransX packs up 
the outbound and sends it out....
If it weren't for my downlinks I could dump portal and let the task 
manager in Windows handle the daily events and nightly maintance.....
