                            Portal Of Power
                   General Echo Rules and Guidelines


  1.  No bashing of the Portal Software.

  2.  No bashing of any Portal Personnel.

  3.  No messages advocating the switching of software from Portal.

  4.  No commercial advertising.

* 5.  The official language of this echo is ENGLISH.  If you must post
      in another language, you MUST include and English translation.

  6.  No aliases are allowed. "REAL NAMES" only please!!
      This includes names in the "Header of the Message" as well!
      Exception:  The Moderator may use the alias of "Moderator"

  7.  Only Quote what is needed, there are people paying to import this
      area, and long quotes with only a few words after them really add
      to the cost.

  8.  Leave the moderating to the moderator.  Even if you don't seem to
      see any response from the moderator in the echo, it could be
      handled by netmail or email..

  9.  The moderator decides what is off topic and what is on topic.  If you
      don't agree, you may discuss it in netmail or email.

!10.  This echo may NOT be gated to any other BBS network without the
      Moderator's explicit approval.

 11.  These are easily followed by remembering the two FidoNet Policy rules:
        A) Thou shalt not excessively annoy others.
        B) Thou shalt not be too easily annoyed.
