No answer!

The latest original binaries from the Portal Team releases 0.63b9 begun
to have problems under Win but I never found a reason for this in the
sources.

Abount one year ago I made changes (no startup parameters) to make Win
more stable but I never got reports if this will make things better or
not.

Maybe use our newest release 0.63b9GPT07 and than get our 0.70pre7 patch
to test the more recent version available.
