1.  Worldnetdaily is not a very reliable source of information.
2.  As an organ of the Religious Right (which it clearly is from even a 
cursory reading of its articles), it is clearly biased.
3.  The reporter responsible for this piece is absolutely dotty on the 
subject of homosexuality (maybe even a bit insecure in his own self-
definition).


And THAT's the point.  An awful lot of rumour and urban myth is being 
spawned by the allegedly-Christian right wing in the USA (and to a degree 
in Canada and the USA).  All too often this reaches the proportions of 
deliberately lying to foster an agenda (gee, where have I heard THOSE 
words before?).  I am angry at these people.  GOD is (unlesss He has 
changed a whole lot) angry at these people!  They are trying to use my faith 
to enlist my support for their hatreds and prejudices.  And they don't 
DESERVE my support.  In fact, they are dangerous anywhere NEAR the levers 
of political power.  Unfortunately the Republican Party in the USA 
seems to feel that it is hostage to them.  Even the Democrats seem to think 
it is necessary to placate this beast.  Personally, I disagree.  Behead 
the beast.  Challenge the lies and heresies head on and they will slink 
back under the rocks they crawled out from under!

Of course, they MAY be right.  It's possible that Western civilization 
has become too weak to fend them off.  In that case, get ready for a new 
dark age, where lies and hatred are the norm and common sense, 
democracy and freedom are considered subversive.
