I get the same effect. I use Netscape too. I notice it now even more,
because I'm using Hafa 
Adai. And I noticed that Doc's Place has switched to the same kind of
software and FIDO there 
now looks like it does here, so I'll guess that my messages from there will
have a similar 
behavior too. Oh well.
