Subj : Voigt's Rude Behavior To : CURTIS JOHNSON From : CONSTANCE RAWLEY Date : Tue Oct 31 2000 02:50 pm In response to your comment on 10/28: CJ> I wonder if we'll hear from Constance on this. Curtis, Joseph Voigt claimed that Henson's reference to hatemongering was "untrue." I rebutted Voigt citing evidence which is strewn about the Matzdobre and Holysmoke Echoes for all to see. With regard to your attempt to justify such behavior, allow me to make a suggestion. Read or re-read Kurt Vonnegut's "Mother Night." The story's about an expatriate playwright who pretends to be a Nazi collaborator in order to broadcast propaganda containing coded messages to Allied Forces. He eventually realizes that his hate-filled, racist, anti-religious rants served to inspire the elitist Nazi mindset behind the attrocities. Though Vonnegut's story is fiction, it nonetheless makes a relevant point: "You must be careful what you pretend to be, because in the end, you are what you pretend to be." Voigt's posts are peddling hate. That's what hatemongers do. Constance --- Platinum Xpress/Win/WINServer v3.0pr4 * Origin: BBS Networks @ www.bbsnets.com 808-839-5016 (1:10/345) .
