I think we did, now that you mention it. Sorry for repeating myself.
For those that don't know the aggadata, Rabbi Meir, to whom IIRC
all anonymous Mishnayos are attributed, was said to be his grandson.
Some other sages had equally illustrious lineage, a couple of
more "minor" sages were said to be decendants of Haman! (How that can
be reconciled with the mandate to destroy Amalek I'm not sure.)
