	Since there are degrees of accuracy, "quite accurate"
is problem-free as a phrase.  The usage books assure me, though,
that "quite" means "entirely, wholly," whereas I'd intended it
only for "very."

	OK, the figure of "God" serves other purposes, just as
do gods of other religions:  a posited explanation of how things 
came to be the way they are, for example.

	"Quite accurate" doesn't fit in too well with "largely,"
does it?
	A nitpick, yes, but clarity has to welcome such nitpicks.
As any professional philosopher well knows, it doesn't take much
slippage in clarity to introduce confusion.
