	Of course, Ford that the real meaning for much of history 
could be found in the infamous _Protocols of the Elders of Zion_, which 
he had published in the Dearborn newspaper he owned.  I actually ran
across this and downloaded it the other week for the laughs (yes, I
have a twisted sense of humor) and was not disappointed.
	IOW, it is about as obvious a piece of "bunk" as there is.
But I did find a clue as to what may have won Ford over to it.  As
you know, Ford was i the buisness of making cars, and the _Protocols_
asserted that subways (and by extension, mass urban transport) was
all part of the Plan to make it easy for them seize power!
