Seems more like a way to project the divine into a lower form that is easier accessible to us, and I'm sure our resident mystic, Frank, would balk at such an idea, as well as the suggestion that we are gods, when your premise seems to state exactly that. I know he's not too found drawing god within ourselves to declare ourselves as such. > TH> And how long has the universe been around? Forever? Maybe your opinion *should*. > TH> What would lead a person to think that space-time has > TH> intelligence in the first place? > > The presence of intelligence in the universe. That doesn't do much to really answer the question, no more than if I claimed that my vacuum cleaner is a seasoned fighter because of the presence of martial arts skills in my house. But I'll at least give you credit for recognizing that the presence of intelligent beings in the universe somehow points to source of consicousness that transcends humanity. That seems to be at least a step in the right direction. Although I wouldn't say that anthopomorphizing empty space would be the right answer. Intelligence, spirit, the intangible things of man, they have a presence within the physical realm, but are not limited by it. Transferring intelligence to the physical space-time continuum seems to work counter to the intangible nature of the human soul. > TH> But, I know that to actually examine an idea is something that > TH> you consider evil... > > What?
