So let me give you an example to see if I understand your enslaving
heterosexual behavior.

I met a woman.  As I got to know her, I grew to love her and being with her,
in every connotation of being you can come up with.  She filled a part of me
which I never even knew existed, let alone needed filling.  She became a
part of me and me of her.  I had every intention of spending the rest of my
existence with her.  It didn't work out that way, after four years she died.
Four years later, there has been no one else to come even close to filling a
portion of that spot.

Was/am I addicted to her?  You could say so.

Did/does it dominate my behavior?  It changed me.  Made me a better person,
I think.

Did it subjugate my will?  You tell me.  I'm a wanderer by nature.  I don't
like remaining in one place for very long.  But after I got with her, I
settled down and started a family.  Having a family, I can't just pack up
and go anytime I get the urge.
