Really?  I never used REXX myself but did hear good things about it way back 
when dinosaurs were using their modems on dialup with OS/2, usually with 
Maximus.  I never heard anything about REXX and html though.

sed could take care of that.  Is it always the same?  That would make it 
easier.

Lots of those types of filters to be had, that is for sure.

No but it doesn't surprise me.  I haven't run across any of those boxes around 
here lately but it wouldn't surprise me if I did accidently stumble across one. 
 There used to be two in the local area - Fido nodelisted too - not all that 
long ago.  At least one of them might still be in existance and at least in 
local useage.
