What do they have over just tracking a number that keeps being incremented? That it's a function, which can be implemented in more than one place, rather than something like incrementing a number kept in a file... I'm just curious about which aspect of the issue you're attempting to solve... I also have looked at the issue of message IDs, although not recently; kept on coming back to the incrementing serial number kept in a file, for simplicities sake... Haven't had a chance to test it out (have to move again), but will when I can. Jame --- BBBS/LiI v4.01 Flag-5 * Origin: https://bbs.rocasa.org/bbbs (1:120/545) .
