The regular SBBS way is too redundant > methinks and adds nothing other then extra bloat. > > Life is good, > Maurice > Yeah, i have several different networks online on my bbs (Hard Drive Cafe) and the way i like to distinguish them is by putting there name in front of the echo. like for DOVEnet (which is what comes installed on synchronet) i have my echos there called DOVE_ for fido its the same format FIDO_. RELAY_ for relay net, and you get the idea. I have always found that when it comes time to debug, if you have to, its always a better idea to be organized. :) Less headaches down the road.. Yeah it takes a little bit longer to set it up that way, and yes it can be a pain in the butt to configure all the networks like that, but i say, fix it now and you won't have to be fixing it later.
