Right.  Just that one line.  It took care of all formatting as it gives the 
exact required result for Fido messaging.  That speeds things up a tad and is 
readily readable by any Linux or UNIX Perl guru.  :-)

Sounds good.  Any thoughts about MSGID?  Your method works excellent for a one 
pass, single message conversion but falls apart in a loop as it creates dupes 
that aren't really dupes, or at least on this computer.  Your mileage may vary.
