Well, I've got the read interface working well. 

The write interface is getting spec'd right now. Those files you sent help a 
lot with that. :)

It also seems that my mind has opened some sort of "sponge mode" that I didn't 
know it had. I'm reading everything I can find on perl and understanding more 
than I did before.. But then, this is a good thing. :D
