Huh, wow. I had no idea other scripting languages were on-topic.

I'm a python programmer, so I'll just say, "hi...I'm lurking". Am
thinking about possibly taking a bit more of a dip into Perl this coming
Winter 2002. (I've dabbled a tiny, tiny bit in Perl up to this point.
Mostly I run other people's Perl scripts on my website, and occasionally
modify them slightly.)
