your system (I can't reach mine from work...<g>) I started another script to do 
an import of conference descriptions from a text file.  The script name is 
desc2bbs.pl, & I put an initial version of it (which I have no idea if it works 
or not...<g>) into the cvs at ftnpl.sf.net ("sf.net" being the same as 
"sourceforge.net") in bbsdbpl early Monday morning...
