No, I don't. That file is for domains that sendmail receives mail FOR, not that can send mail to it. Otherwise, you'd have to list every domain that might send you mail. In other words, only my own domain names go in that file. You should never have to list someone elses domain in the cw file. BTW, in the newer versions of Sendmail, that file changed to "local-host-names". On my Redhat box, it's in /etc/mail. If we start making allowances for those that can't or won't follow instructions, then there's no point in having standards. Anyone can send to me, as long as it's coming from a valid domain. However, when Joe Blow sets up a mail slave that pumps out mail from hotsex.funky.com, and that domain doesn't resolve, I bounce it right back at him. If someone misconfigures their email client, they need to learn how to configure it properly. If it's coming that way from the distributor, then they either need to learn how to distribute it so that it get's configured properly, or give instructions on how to properly configure. As far as I'm concerned, spam is something to be squashed. Russ --- BBBS/LiI v4.01 Flag-3 * Origin: Dimension 7 - http://www.dimstar.net (1:105/8) .
