That's what I ended up checking for, and in this instance that's what is being referred to; the line number from the nodelist file being processed. I ran again aginst the most recent nodelist, & ended up with three errors just like the above. Made the assumption that the "chuck numbers" were referring to line numbers in this case, & checked the nodelist; found that it pointed to three lines that had no flags at all, nothing after the baud rate. That's where the error was coming up; the $flags variable wasn't being set because there wasn't anything there to set it with... I added some code to check for that, & it now runs without errors.
