   Eh?  What makes you think it won't be "hosted" on Fido?   That there might 
be a project at sourceforge?

   I can't speak for what Russ plans to do, so I'll simply note that I have two 
fidonet nodes, one of them IP only but both of them online 24/7.  The IP only 
node is my "experimental" one, so-to-speak;  & when the program(s) are far 
enough along for it, they'll be running that node...  (And until then, it'll be 
running at least one fidonet point...)
