Perhaps.  Looking at it as is, and pondering about all messaging - email etc. - 
it seems to me that a more generic method for local reading/writing would be a 
better pursuit.  I am going to try something later on once I resolve a few more 
pressing issues.  I want to recreate my "stable" partition now that I figured 
out what I want and need.

For who?  If for myself then there will be wholesale changes.  I could easily 
get rid of the entire FTN structures and make this far more useable.  Whoever 
invented this messaging structure ought to be ashamed.  It is almost a silly as 
Microsoft methodologies, although that is probably a bad comparison seeing MS 
has so many people duped into thinking their stupidity is required, whereas 
Fido has diddley-squat in the way of useage.  Oh well.  No big deal in the 
final analysis but I am still going to snicker when people call this a hobby.  
Is that okay?
