Subj : Fair Warning To : All From : Larry Athey Date : Tue Aug 22 2000 12:22 am FYI: If you are considering switching from BP7/TP7 or Delphi to FPC, be prepared to be 100% on your own. Their so called "Support Mailing Lists" are nothing more than a bunch of people telling you "Figure it out for yourself". Sounds a lot like Microsoft is behind this doesn't it? If you point out a problem or a shortcoming in FPC, these clowns get all defensive about it. Yep, FPC is free, worth every penny of it, and you get *exactly* what you pay for. If you want a multi-platform type of Pascal, you're far better off spending the money on TMT Pascal or Virtual Pascal... Remember, you get what you pay for...You pay nothing, you get a whole lot of nothing... --- GoldED+/W32 1.1.4.5 * Origin: Some Unheard-Of System * Scottsbluff, Nebraska (1:14/703) .
