I don't really do that much GUI TWM> programming, but even for real programming (in contrast to TWM> point-and-click program building) the Delphi IDE is great. Oh yes for GUI its great. However for big projects and the like that may not per se use GUI heavilly...nah But I guess you grew up with the IDE? I grew up with TP's IDE then bp so obviously prefer that only by nature of first use. I'm sure if I started with delphi I would do delphi that way. But I just still can't get into it at home. Work is one thing but at home doing hobby or software stuff is another matter :) SA> but it does seem a tad faster in production than VP. TWM> And the code it produces is faster. I know, I have seen the code VP TWM> generates. ;-) No, really, Delphi's optimizing compiler is better than TWM> VP's, which does not mean that VP's compiler is bad. I've not done profile testing myself not since the C vs pascal is faster debates but nothing with delphi. But it does seem that way. I would TWM> have some trouble if that wasn't possible. ;-) The keys and such are simple its just having to reach for a mouse to code every 2 seconds is annoying. I can program in bp hours without touching a mouse unless its testing my software :) SA> ... "In case you haven't heard, the war is over." - Dodger TWM> War? Which war?
