I would suggest adding a function like:

FUNCTION ExtractFilePath(FilePath: PathStr): PathStr;
VAR Path: PathStr; FileName: FileStr; Ext: ExtStr;
BEGIN
  FSplit(FilePath, Path, FileName, Ext);
  ExtractFilePath := Path
END;

This is a skeleton solution; for the details see the online help. I currently 
don't have the compiler at hand, so I could not test it.
