Honest suggestion:  You're going to want to at least scan the documentation, so 
that you have a general idea as to what the program can do for you.  I'm not 
that far ahead of you -- I found OT to be very intimidating to set up and 
tweak, given that it's so damned powerful and flexible -- but I started with 
OT.FAQ and QR_TRACK.DOC, in the distribution archive.  From there, I just asked 
specific questions if I got tripped up (and not only is the author here, but 
there are also some very knowledgeable users of OT lurking here).
