Subj : The Patriquin Utilities - conversion To : All From : Marc Lewis Date : Wed Jan 22 2003 07:06 am * Forwarded (from: COMP-OS2-APPS) by Marc Lewis using timEd/2 1.10.y2k+. * Originally from Marc Lewis (1:396/45) to All. * Original dated: Wed Jan 22, 07:05 Hello all. For years I had run my BBS under DOS/DESQview, depending heavily on some utilities like Norm Patriquin's PCopy and PDelete (sort of like a SysOp's "Swiss Army knife"). After converting to OS/2-CP2 I kept some of my main batch files (after some adjustments) to run in VDMs. It has recently come to mind that I actually have the full source code for all the Patriquin utilities. I was wondering if it would be practical to consider doing a recompilation to run as a native 16bit OS/2 application? I am not a programmer, but I think these are written in C or C++. Opinions? Options? Best regards, Marc --- timEd/2 1.10.y2k+ * Origin: Sursum Corda! BBS New Orleans 1-504-897-6006 USR33k6 (1:396/45) .
