Subj : FireBird 0.61 for OS/2 To : Bat Lang From : Mike Luther Date : Mon Sep 08 2003 12:13 pm Before the Bat flies away into the sunrise! BL> Just about smack on, actually. Since the GCC you offered was the BL> earlier version, I thought to do a Google search on "GCC322" + "OS/2" BL> and struck pay dirt. It was a msg from one of the Yahoo msg areas, and BL> dealt with Mozilla 1.5+. Within the msg were two links, one that lead BL> to a source for GCC322, the other for Libc01. You are too good to bet with ., chuckle, but .. I had the foresite to correspond the dates in my archives to the dates of the data files in them! I *HATE* *HATE* *HATE* ... hmpf .. the Web Crawler Worm idea that we should alter the dates of the downloads to whenever! What happens on a lot of this stuff now is that the data in the download will be the same, but the file date for it varies widely on what you crawl upon in the Web. I think more errors have maybe been made this way with OS/2 driver dates and so on for files that appear newer, but are not. For that reason, I always try to use either FTP for the snatch, or at least look inside the file and try to pick off the latest date file inside it before I put it in my library or put it up on the board for download. Those were the dates on the DATA that was in that file as it originally came from a WEB download,,, and were changed accordingly. OTOH, if you are correct about there being later files for the GCC information will you PLEASE post it here to me so I can correct my error... Thanks friend to all of us here... --> Sleep well; OS/2's still awake! ;) Mike @ 1:117/3001 --- Maximus/2 3.01 * Origin: Ziplog Public Port (1:117/3001) .
