Subj : FireBird 0.61 for OS/2 To : All From : Bat Lang Date : Sun Sep 07 2003 06:08 am Is anyone using the pgm as their browser? I downloaded it from the www.mozilla.org site, and unzipped it into E:\MOZILLAFIREBIRD\ dir, (my boot drive is D:). I am running Warp 4.5, but when I used the 'Drives' icon on my desktop, and clicked on the E:\MOZILLAFIREBIRD\MOZILLAFIREBIRD.EXE (WHEW!), all I got was a standard "properties" window for the pgm, but no icon on the desktop. Further, when I subsequently tried to execute the above filespec, I just got an error msg, attesting to GCC322. not being found. ?? Prolly because I don't have any such dir or files on my system. I would sure like to get this pgm working, as it purports to be a fast, scaled down version of Mozilla, devoid of the extra functions built into Netscape, et al, it's just a browser, and that's just what I need and want. Any help will be most appreciated. Thanks.
