on my OS/2 boxes, i run TIME868 and use time.nist.gov (192.43.244.18)... i 
think i'm using UDP for both, client and server, functions...

on my win boxes, i run abouttime... it comes with the following three servers 
in its configs...

NIST  time.nist.gov       192.43.244.18  SNTP
NASA  ns.arc.nasa.gov     128.102.16.2   SNTP
USNO  tick.usno.navy.mil  192.5.41.40    SNTP

you can see that i use the first one on both OS' but use different protocols 
due to the software in use on each...

there's also tock.usno.navy.mil  (tock to go with tick above - tick tock 
<<GG>>)
