I am running ver 1.1 

Likely the combination of the newer InJoy and the 32bit IP stack was the 
culprit. I heard it took several 32bit IP releases from IBM before the newer 
InJoy was stable. Likely if you took the current InJoy modem and current 32bit 
IP stack everything would be fine.
