Subj : OS/2 and Win32 Binary Release of hpt, htick, and other Husky tools To : All From : Tobias Ernst Date : Thu Jul 20 2000 06:02 pm Hello world! Three days after the announcement of the source code of new versions of the Husky software, we are now announcing binary releases for OS/2 and Win32 of those tools, including the hpt tosser, the htick ticker, and the nltools nodelist updating tools. This is the first time that we officially cover non-Unix platforms with stable binary releases. Husky is a joint effort of over a dozen developers from Germany, Russia and all over the world to develop a completely free, open-sourced and portable fidonet software suite. Husky currently runs on Linux, FreeBSD and many other free and commercial Unix systems, and also on OS/2, Windows and DOS. (N.B.: Please note that in the announcement of source code, there was an error: The current version number of fidoconfig is 0.10, not 0.9. So the correct filename is fidoconf-0.10-src.tar.gz. Sorry for the inconvenience). But now for the newly released binary packages: MAGIC FILENAME CONTAINS DESCR --------------------------------------------------------------------------- FCONFO fidoconf-0.10-os2.zip fidoconfig 0.10-stable Documentation and config FCONFW fidoconf-0.10-win.zip file management tools.
