Don't overlook memory as a potential source of your problems.  I had two DIMMS
(1024Mb) in my eCS 1.15 system, and was having serious issues.  I removed one
(played around with it to see which was causing issues) and now the sytem is
rock stable with 512Mb.  Unfortuanely, that leaves me with an unused 512Mb DIMM
that may or may not be useable, and for which I spent good money. :(
