Subj : Converting Linux programs To : All From : Stephen Haffly Date : Tue Aug 16 2005 06:56 am Hi everyone, How hard is it to convert Linux programs to OS/2 programs using GCC? I am sharing an APC UPS (BackUPS XS 1500) between two computers. One is Linux (Fedora Core 4) and this one is eComStation 1.15. On the Linux box, I am running apcupsd to manage UPS events. This is network capable, and looks like it would work (if I can figure out how to port it over to OS/2) to manage both machines. Apcupsd is open source, and I have a copy of the source code for the Linux version. Am I being realistic in thinking this could work, or should I give up and hope that no power outage long enough to run the batteries down occurs while I am away from the machines?
