Hi Folks,

Ok, what brave soul has played with either of the above? I have been tempted to 
play with GIMP/2, and it requires an "Xfree86" environment for this. Except 
after browsing the X11 archives on Hobbes I can see so many options, it looks 
like a real chore.

My first question is, which version of Xfree should I look at? I can see 3.1, 
3.2 and 3.3.1, but is the latest the "best"? Given that an xFree install is 
about 40-60MB of disk space I would rather try and do this once instead of 
repeat it... Any and all advice welcome.
