Subj : Curious fault To : All From : Marc Lewis Date : Sun Jun 19 2005 06:02 pm * Original message posted in: OS2. * Crossposted in: COMP-OS2-MISC. Hello All. On occasion, _apparently_ some backgound task (perhaps a VDM) on my BBS machine causes the machine to become somewhat non-responsive. (I say 'apparently' because I really don't have a handle on what's happening.) If I click on any icon on the Desktop, it presents the properties of the icon, rather than launching the associated program. Same with icons for the running, minimised programs; clicking on the brings up a Properties window. Only way out of it that I've been able to come up with is a three-finger salute. Any ideas?
