PK> PK> What S/W did you use for that, Win or OS/2? Right now, I'm using fotoget (from Hobbes). You just have to make sure your system recognizes you USB connected camera as a disk drive. BTW, assuming you do get the camera recognized, even xcopy will work with a lot of cameras but resist the temptation as the WPS and OS/2 will try to write ea info to the camera and generally manage to screw it up in the process to where you lose what's in the cmaera. I also had data integrity problems with some transfers that way. I have also used Nicks-something or other-program which is also on hobbes but fototget is simpler. Both will translate the file ID's to date strings for names which isa a big plus. Maybe a PK> digital camera wil re-enable that hobby.......;-) In days gone by I have made money at everything from carnival roustabout as a teenager to free-lance photographer to pharmacist to fighter pilot to college professor. Now I'm ready to settle down as a professional grandpa but my garage and attic attest to a somewhat eclectic life. My favorite camera remains a well equiped Speed Graphic for any studio use with the Pentax for field work. I am not atristically impressed by the digital models simply because they lack adequate control over exposure and definition for my tastes. I classify the Fuji as a snapshot device.
