In addition to ensuring that you have the correct GCC libraries, one thing that I do is to have a separate profiles directory configured. It makes updating the Firefox (and Mozilla) browsers just a bit simpler since it eliminates the danger of overwriting something when unzipping an updated version. For that, use the MOZILLA_HOME= line in your config.sys to set this up. By doing this, I have the IWB, Mozilla, Firefox, and Thunderbird able to run and play together. My line, for example reads: SET MOZILLA_HOME=D:\MOZPROFILES One other thing: Sometimes, especially when something changes in the GCC runtime, the various browsers and Firebird will no longer run concurrently.
