I am looking for something a little cheaper. ;-) One GUI filemanager you might consider is FM/2 by Mark Kimes. http://hobbes.nmsu.edu/pub/os2/util/browser/fm2-3_02.zip It used to be shareware but is now freeware, it comes with a whole pile of supporting utilities, and it can be used as a monolithic filemanager or launched as separate directory windows from either its VTree utility or its Databar (a drive status display panel). It also handles archive formats of various kinds using the standard ARCHIVER.BB2 definition file that many programs use. I also use a few text-mode filemanagers here under OS/2 (ZTree Bold, FileJet, and Midnight Commander), but none of them are as flexible as FM/2, though the first two are pretty good on their own. MP> SHEZ - this is a DOS ZIP, etc., archive manipulator. SHEZ is old. I used to use it in the DOS days before I discovered Stereo Shell and AVIEW (a freeware ZIP/ARJ/LZH file viewer). The three best OS/2 collections I'm aware of are (in order): Hobbes (formerly a mirror of the original Hobbes on ftp.cdrom.com that used to release CDs, but now the main Hobbes site): http://hobbes.nmsu.edu OS/2 Shareware BBS: http://www.os2bbs.com or telnet://bbs.os2bbs.com Exec-PC (membership is free -- toss Curt (the Sysop) a note): telnet://www.execpc.com The latter two are best accessed using a telnet client with Zmodem, so you could either use SIO + Vmodem + some normal communications program, or a Zmodem-capable telnet client like ZOC or mTelnet. mTelnet can be found on Hobbes: http://hobbes.nmsu.edu/pub/os2/apps/internet/telnet/mtelb10.zip but a slightly newer version is here: telnet://ozone.eesc.com ....
