On my system, HSTART is not compatable with the OS/2 version of IREX.
 
If I use HSTART to call a CMD file from a DOS session, it will pop open
the CMD file, which calls IREX, and everything goes fine until IREX
attempts to do its ftp chores.  At that point, the whole system freezes
up.  The only way to get everything freed up is to CTRL-ALT-DEL.
 
I have tried various HSTART command lines and all either give the above result,
result in the CMD file not being called at all, or give a similar result
to above (the freeze-up happens, but after a few seconds delay, instead
of instantly).
 
Are there any other ways to call a CMD file from a DOS session?  I cannot
believe this is so difficult.
