How do I use an updated IDE >MB: driver during installation? You need to create new startup diskettes and replace the IBM1S506.ADD and OS2DASD.DMD on the second disk with a more recent one. If you don't have recent IBM IDE drivers, use this: http://hobbes.nmsu.edu/pub/os2/system/drivers/filesys/ibmide.zip If you have Warp 4 available, I suggest you use that and ditch W3Conn. Warp 4 is compiled for Pentium processors, while Warp 3 is compiled for 486. You'll still need to update the IDE drivers, however.
