You'll find good descriptions about the browser family. You can download the 
most current versions of mozilla, firefox.... from there. The OS/2 versions are 
a bit hidden - but they are there.

For news you would use pronews/2 from HOBBES. As this is the best newsreader 
available under OS/2 and OS/2 and is maintained.


As I can't find an email-client that fullifies my needs and is not out of 
service I use mozilla (that does anything I need)


Some hints:

Before you start to install mozilla/firefox you should
- create a directory named mozprof
- insert the lines in config.sys
SET #MOZILLA_HOME=E:\MOZILLAHOME
SET MOZ_PLUGIN_PATH=E:\MOZILLAHOME\MOZILLA\PLUGINS\
SET MOZ_PLUGINS_PATH=E:\MOZILLAHOME\MOZILLA\PLUGINS\

Tat will beware you to create a new profile when you changes your 
mozilla/firefox later.
You will then simply remove the mozilla directory with anything in it, create a 
new one and install ther new version in it.

you'll find lots of nice extensions to mozilla and firefox. Nearly all of them 
will install theyrself on mozilla/firefox by clicking on install in the 
WEB-page. Anything that does NOT mention an OS explicity will work in your OS/2 
version problemless. Look through the whole list and install anything that 
matches your needs. They are designed to make your live a lot easier as user 
and as WEB developer.

install them, like acrobat reader, Macromedia Flash, ......
