MB> Thanks for the reply. :) I downloaded FastKick from MB> Hobbes but I cannot find in the ZIP archive the MB> instructions on how to use it. Can you enlighten me on MB> how it is used? I guess I have been doing it for so long I never worried too much about instructions......;-) Ok, this is from memory but it should get you started. Assume the drive letter to contain the Fixpack files is X: - 1. I created 2 directories - X:\FixApply X:\FixTool 2. I unpacked FastKick141 into the FIXTOOL directory. I also picked up the DSKXTRCT utilty (from Hobbes) I created 2 x .CMD files in the FIXTOOL directory - FIXPREP.CMD - ================================================================= @Echo Off Cls X: CD \FixApply For %%I in (*.??k) Do DskXtrct /s:%%I /t:. /la ================================================================= FIX.CMD - ================================================================= @ECHO OFF set CSFUTILPATH=X:\FixTool set CSFCDROMDIR=X:\FixApply SERVICE.EXE ================================================================= 3. I place all Fixpack Diskette image files into the FIXAPPLY directory. 4. Run FIXPREP.CMD from the FIXTOOL directory. 5. Run FIX.CMD from the FIXTOOL directory. I think thats about it, I am sure others will mention if I have missed something. Cheers..................pk. --- Maximus/2 3.01 * Origin: Another Good Point About OS/2 (3:772/1.10) .
