My system is 24h online, so my pronews is connected 24h. But when I had to pay 
for each minute as I had to do with ISDN only like some years ago I would do 
like you.

You're not alone on that. PMMail is out of service so the the best email client 
is death. For email I use simply mozilla because it is the best possible near 
to pmmail I can find.
I need authentication and that is what my registered pmmail 1.96 can not do. I 
don't like to pay a single cent for a desth BETA.
