MP> Y'ah! Why not? What do you think of Macintosh? From a technical an MP> point of view. I like the GUI. One of the big things you have to get used to is that if you drag a program's icon into the trash basket to get it off your desktop, the program gets deleted, so you have to watch little stuff like that. One of the big advantages (so far) is that the guys writing viruses write 'em for PCs, and they don't work on Macs. I have A/V software running on the Mac, of course, but a friend of mine in CA who used to work for Apple before she went with Phoenix Technologies said that it's been so long since she's seen an Apple virus that she doesn't remember when it was. In the meantime, though, I'll keep the A/V software database updated as often as new ones come out. I just upgraded the RAM from 64MB to 160MB. It'll be interesting to see what effect that has on the crashes that SoftWindows has been causing. It IS a memory hog.
